My experience

From Cali to Tumaco there are 17 hours away by bus and 1 hour by plane. When you arrive you
feel that the weather is hot and your body feels sticky. Since you arrive, you feel that the people
who live there are very kind, welcoming and cheerful too.

There are several sites that can be visited. In the day we can go to El Morro, which is the most
recognized beach of the place, it is a place to relax, you can drink beer, coconut juice and talk
to other people who are in the place. On Sundays El Morro is a place where families enjoy
quality time. Also, we can go to Bajito which is another beach but in this the sea level is smaller.

El Bajito at night is also a place where you can go to drink liquor and have a good time with your
friends or meet people.

At night the atmosphere is very cheerful, it is made for going to dance with your friends. All the
clubs are in a place called El Puente but El Puente is also a place where you can go fishing in the
afternoons. This is one of the plans frequented by young people there.

The motorcycle is the most used transport for the people of Tumaco. There is also public transport
but many people feel embarrassed to use it, When I visit Tumaco I only ride once by bus. The other times I went out I did it on a motorcycle because my aunt told me she was embarrassed if her friends saw me riding a bus.
